The Patch Math Lab (coming soon)
Learning does not follow a hierarchy.
Students do not need to master a subject before helping someone else understand it.
Teaching a peer requires students to explain their thinking, answer questions, and notice where their own understanding needs refinement.
Both students learn. Both students think more deeply.
Teaching is not reserved for the person who knows the most. It is part of how we learn to know more.
How the Patch Math Lab Works
The Patch Math Lab meets on Zoom and is free for all paying Patch Math clients.
Bring your questions, meet other students, and get extra support between lessons. Students taking higher-level courses can help others work through concepts they have already learned.
If you show up for help, show up ready to help, too.
Explaining what you know strengthens your own understanding while helping someone else build theirs.
Need extra help? Come to the lab. No additional charge.
